Really good server with a good community just lags quite a bit. only thing i dont like so far is that i have to pay 500 bits for anything even to fix an item i feel like that should just be allowed for free and maybe they can lower the minimum pay to 250 too.

I really stuggled to make a lag free server for SF4 for me and my friends so i decided to dig around for a community and i found this amazing active server. The community is really helpful and non-toxic.I definitely see myself playing this whenever i can. The only thing i could suggest is adding an extra mod called Project EX (addon for project e) it basically add more stuff to project e including mainly more server friendly ways to make powerflowers that lags less and also it ups the EMC cap which would be nice to see but i understand it could be op.
Anyways AMAZING SERVER defo recommend checking them out

I have played this server a ton over the past few years, both on skyfactory and now stoneblock. Really impressed with everything, and the best part has to be the server tps. Even in these modpacks there's really not that much lag

Few Things beforehand:
I am rewarded a Chunk loader for this review. Neither, was this review effected or checked by anyone related to the Baconnets Server nor am i told to write specific Things. This is 100% My Opinion:
The Baconnet Server groups definitely seems to be experienced with Minecraft Servers. They offer quiet a few Servers with different Modpacks and it shows. The Server uses Custom Skripts to make the server Lag Free and it Works but that is unfortunately also apparent in some places and Gameplay.
Pros:
- Friendly helping and answering Playperbase who dont just tell you the exact solution but hint you the right way which i find pretty nice.
- Basicly Lag free server, well really optimized.
- Well build, not too big, Spawner and "city" easy to navigate but still worth a second look.
- Defenetly have a look at the Museum seems to
be a funny Server :D.
- Custom Skripts to simplify lots of things and commands.
-- Im not even sure if its a good thing but i feel like ore spwanrates are defenetly higher ... i cant tell if its a server thing or a Modpack thing but to some that might be a deal breaker, to some maybe not.
Meh's:
- There are some Banned Items. Those can be looked up with ./banneditems (somebody in chat told me that ) but they dont make them selfs apparent. I would have liked to get a message in the chat explaining and maybe even hint at alternatives. (took me down a little rabbit hole to find a alternative autocraftingtable. Basicly got into a completly differnt mod just to find that its not what you where actually looking for) obvioulsy there would have been creative but then where is the fun xD.
- Mobs seem to be hit hard by the performance changes. When they are "waking up" they are absolutely lag free BUT while not being agro on you they dont really move like at all ( looks like frozen in time ). Often times Mobs agro late or only if you get really close.
- There seems to be a Skript that Spawnes some zombies "just for you" at night which is funny and kinda saves the PvE Status of this server. It seems to be based on Server load.
- Creepers are more or less turned off, They do spawn and when they agro when you walk up to them and scare you with the sound but they basically do no damage to blocks, mobs or players.
-- Im not even sure if its a bad thing but i feel like ore spwanrates are defenetly higher ... i cant tell if its a server thing or a modpack thing but to some that might be a deal breaker, to some maybe not.
Final thoughs:
in this rewiev it might seem like the Meh's outweigh the props but its just that the Meh's are more nuanced and there for require some more explanation. For people who are not in it for the Action but for companionship and the well optimized Server experience this is defenetly the right Server. For people who are more into Fights or maybe even competitive scenarios the drawbacks might hit a little hard but this simply isnt a PvP Server and its not trying to be one.

One of the best servers I've played on, definitely the best for skyfactory 4! Great engagement, only problem is the bacon isn't real :((

I've always wanted to be able to play modded minecraft, without buying my own server. Do I looked around and there wasnt much that was good then I came across baconetworks. This server is absoulouyly amazing there many diffrent commands and stuff plus the community is always there for you if you are struggling and need some help.

This was the first server i played sf4 or sb2 on and it is a great experince the staff are nice and the people are helpfull.

My friend brought me into playing Stonecraft 2 and we were literally about to play on an aternos server until we came across this server. The performance is outstanding and the community is great. When me and my friend were experiencing crashes every 10 minutes an admin was able to come to our cave, identify, and fix the problem in less than an hour of my report. Great staff, great people, great server.

very epic server. I play on the stoneblox server and I did not have any issues so far. I already have a few hours on the server like at least 17+ hours and I really enjoyed it so far. Community is very epic. Chat is moderated most of the time. Server is also lag free most of the time. All in all very epic.

I sincerely love this server because all these small things, the owner is active, there are staff online most of the time, people in the server are friendly and there's very little items banned.

I've been playing skyfactory for a while on my own until I decided to join a server so I can play with my friends and get to know other people and this server has a lot of people who are willing to help and tips for skyfactory and I like it here

Server is very active and social, rewards are frequent and the staff are very nice and helpful. There's normally someone to answer any questions you have and if not the discord server is there as well.
