It says something, when a server returns after eight months of absence and literally dozens of old players return in just a few days of uptime. To us returning players, it says Prelude Gaming is the freaking best modded Minecraft community there is.

Server staff are chill and approachable, responsive and helpful.
Community is awesome and friendly, love those guys.
Server performance is phenomenal for modded Minecraft, especially considering the massive size of the custom modpack they host.
Rules are fair and clearly worded, very ethical.
Pay2win is minimal, nothing over $20, just a few item kits on the site and a subscription Patron rank with some wacky perks.
At the time of writing this review, the map(s) are quite young, plenty of unexplored terrain to explore and settle.

TL;DR best modded Minecraft server ever.
