I dont even know where do begin, well... this server has buy far been the most fun/entertaining servers i have played on since vanilla. please never close the server because it is Amazing!!! :)

Was given a bad vibe when I joined. Asked once question about the protection plugins used. Was given a rude response, by multiple people. Nothing was said, I just left.

Excellent server. Stable, large player base, and helpful admins. Owner is aggressive at stamping out exploits and bugs. Highly recommended.

Someone has to stamp out the bugs or we are just left with a laggy mess instead of a clean and performant server :D

Great server, Amazing staff team that quickly responds and addresses issues that are ticketed or commented on about either In-Game or via the Forums.

Server Owner is active in the day to day life of the server and is quite friendly; the Senior staff are very effective and efficient at their job.

Minimal banned items that would cause Lag, or economy issues or just being flat overpowered in general.

Very friendly players and the very active server would recommend to everyone and anyone I know 10/10 ---- and 5 Stars.

It's only great thanks to our community that supports us and helps us along the way. It truly helps out a lot!

I try my best at doing as much as I can and so does every other staff member to ensure that the server does not lag etc :)

What can I say about the famous Baconetwork servers... It's a VERY long list indeed so let's get started. Baconetworks consists of 3 servers so far, Infinity, Evolved, and Inventions. I've devoted most of my time to the Evolved server and I haven't looked back since day one. My experiences thus far has been truly amazing and everyday is a new experience and adventure. The entire Baconetwork community, from Novice to Veteran embraces what they do and they are always willing to help, even if it be giving someone a few dirt blocks to complete that shack. Sure you get some bad eggs but they don't stick around for long and the more serious offenders are dealt with quickly. The staff is another element to Baconetworks and they to deserve my highest respects and commemoration. The staff members devout their time to the server and they are growing in numbers everyday. Always willing to help and listen to the players no matter the situation. The staff members are even willing to work with players on massive projects as they themselves share the same ambitions as the player. The server itself has a few plugins to help prevent griefing and it allows the long term players the ability to call the server home. PvP is disabled and honestly, it is a feature that few people want in the first place. Towny allows you and your friends to join together and delve into the intricate workings of Feed the Beast. A basic ranking systems rewards both the noobs and nooblets during their time with Baconetworks. The server also has it's own dedicated Teamspeak channel which always has people around who are willing to give assistance to any level of player, whether they've just started out or have dedicated many hours to the server. The owner and senior staff are always opened to suggestions on how to improve the server everyday and give every player the ability to voice their minds. The Baconetworks Website which truly bolsters the experience and makes getting assistance in any matter quick and easy and features Forums that allow the players to ask questions on various topics and changes on Baconetworks. The server has a few items disabled to ensure the best possibly experience for it's players in terms smooth game play with little to no lag and even has ways to create items that were thought to be uncraftable. Baconetwork experiences some sporadic issues but they are easily resolved and you can go back to doing what you set out to do in the first place. Whether it be building a giant pony to the smallest of dirt shacks, Baconetworks is truly the place to express yourself and do everything that your heart desires.

Wow this sure is a big review. I'm glad to see that you've had fun on our ftb infinity evolved server. And yes our community is pretty amazing and helps out all the time and we make sure to get rid of the bad eggs as soon as possible. I can't praise my staff team enough since they truly help a lot and that's what helps make the server what it is. We opted to disable pvp since it's bad I think if people erm kill eachother. And we opted for towny since I personally loved it! While our teamspeak is dead (Long live discord) those were truly the times :D We tried to disable as least amount of items to avoid messing with gameplay and it truly paid off I think.

Absolutely love this server!!! It is a well-balanced server that is so much fun to play on!
First, about the server itself: the server operates really smoothly and has virtually no lag. The staff is quick to respond to and remedy any issue that may arise in how the server is running.
The staff is very helpful and have an amazing amount of knowledge of the mods and items. They are fun to play with and chat with, and are eager to help wherever they can. Don't be surprised if a staff member (or other veteran player) stops by with gifts :)
Also... the server uses towny and lwc to protect your towns and stuff, which is really nice. As long as you set your town up correctly, there are no worries about anyone raiding your home.

And I absolutely love players such as yourself it truly makes working on the network a joy!

We try our best to keep lag low and to respond to issues as fast as we can tbh! And I think we do a decent job at that. And while we may not know everything modpack related we do know quite a bit! Towny and lwc really was our go to combo back in the day and I think the plugins are really chill :D

I play on the expert mode server. I started in expert the day it opened. The staff pride themselves on keeping the server at 20tps. Expert sits around 15 players on average. Normal is around 40 players. The banned items have the reasons for them being banned in the nei. There are a few custom plugins that the server uses that were coded by the staff of the server. Dups are fixed as they are found and videos are created for how they were done. Players found duping are banned and all the duped items are located and removed.
There is no PVP and raiding is allowed on area that are not claimed by towny. Some people don’t like this as it leaves a lot of old bases that have been demolished from being raided. But you can’t expect a server to leave every base up and active when people stop playing. Being allowed to take stuff from players that are no longer playing lets the players of the server do some of the work for keeping the stable and running well. New players are still able to find things left is some of the ruined bases and get a nice jump start to their game play. I have been a victim of a raid like this when I took a break from the game my town fell and everything was taken. Did not stop me from playing and progressing through the mods once again.
The staff of the server are there to make sure the server runs well and not to baby sit players that do not know what they are doing or how things work. Sure they can answer questions but so can the other players of the server. There is also looking into the mods yourself (google/ftbwiki.org is your friend)
There are some custom crafts for the server (Awakened Drac blocks, Dragon Heart, Chaos Shards) and they do take suggestions for other things (I have requested that the Infinity Egg from Witchery be able to be crafted).
All in all my experience on this server after almost 1 year of playing on it is that is one of the best you can find.

The server is wonderful, active helpful players wonderful staff. Server has almost no lag at all the banned / restricted items are within reason and totally agreeable. My only gripe be it a small one is the server restart time feels a bit too quick for my liking. Other than that I love the server good job :D

The players and staff really are amazing and even amaze me at times with their helpful words and timely execution. We try our best to keep the lag at a minimum and I think we are doing great. We've changed the server restart to every 8 hours so that should give you plenty of playtime hours :D

Granted the server has a good population, nice players, little to no lag (I'm in BC, Canada), and some solid instructions for newcomers.

But I cannot recommend this server for builders under any circumstance. They use a couple of plugins for player security, Towny and LWC. That's all well and good but it has had unintended consequences; as I traveled the map all I found were ruins of old builds. None of the grand structures that once existed on this server, stuff that visitors had at one time put some real thought and creativity into, are found intact. They are often found stripped to the ground sometimes with a snarky sign posted in the area telling the player "shoulda used Towny, your own fault".
In these cases the Towny maintenance wasn't kept up so their claim expired and eventually someone wandered on through and harvested the structure for everything it was worth.
As a Minecraft player since alpha I find this patently ridiculous.

It seems silly to me that you would want to run a Minecraft server, a game renowned for interesting and varied builds, that encourages this kind of cannibalism. Sure, if it's how these folks discovered a way to survive as a server go for it I guess.
Nothing personal. Again I thought the players all seemed like good folks just enjoying their game. That's perfectly fair.

But speaking entirely as a player passing through this is what I saw and why I ultimately wasn't interested.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't recommend us to builders however towny and lwc really were good plugins back then and honestly you can't expect us to monitor all bases even unclaimed ones and that's why we forced people to claim their bases. I know it seems rude however some cool builds were done in towns as well and nobody ever touched them. If you did a cool build we would even protect it for you since well we like cool things :D

It seems silly to you however we have to keep the economy going somehow and towny upkeep was the way to do it :P
I guess everyone has their own personal opinions and that's fine. I hope you can give us another try one day!

Cant even move from spawn, The staff is incompetent. They tried to help me and couldn't figure anything out.

This never happened. As far as I remember you never decided to open a ticket or do any interactions with staff. None of the staff members remember such an interaction either...
