Came on here expected to only be there for the day now i have 50+ hours on the server, everyone i talked to has been nice. Extremely good server mangement team if you need help they'll come to you right away or if you just need to get an answear to a question you can. overall amazing server with great people can't wait to use more of my spare time on it cause so far has been amazing

This is my first time playing Stoneblock and I really enjoy it. My mates and I have a really good time and the staff are very nice. The server is lag free for me and the players are also really helpful

So I haven't been playing this server for too long but so far I have been having a good experience. The people I talk to seem to be quite helpful. I haven't experienced any lag what so ever. I wish there was a book or something that people could point you in a slightly better direction for what to do but then again it's modded minecraft XD. I don't know how the trading system works between people but what I was listening to yesterday I wasn't super thrilled with how it's managed with costs of items. Don't get me wrong I can understand trying to have a balance but if you aren't accurate to item equivalency you get banned? That doesn't quite seem right to me especially when sometimes people really don't know what to put a price of something at when trading and bartering is bartering for example two apples and a water for a Steak like why would the steak only have to be 6 apples and nothing more or less? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong but that was the jist I got from listening to them discuss how to trade items. I am gladly enjoying this server however and am having no qualms for the most part.

Glad to see that you've been having a good experience so far. And yeah we can really teach people the pack with books etc if you're confused it's best to just look up a youtube tutorial or something. Basically how the trading system works is that you should consider rule 10 where you would convert it to balance first and then compare the balance between both items. You will almost never be banned in regards to rule 10 since we have ways of blocking you from using the market and paying people so that won't happen. The server is great! I was looking for alternatives after I wasn't able to port forward for a personal minecraft server and I found this when browsing the server list. I must say I haven't had any issues so far other then not being able to use an acceleration wand, however it is just a minor inconvenience and the community and staff is friendly and offer support when I need it.

first of all i joined this server cuz i wanted to play sakyfactory. my friend found this server for us and now e play it. my friend isnt as active as me but i like the server alot. its really fun playing here and making everything. idk wut it is but i feel like somethings missing. so i made it 4 star. overall a rlly good server

I really enjoy this server because of the community aspect. I also enjoy this server because its free and me and my brother enjoy playing together. One thing I would have to say that I don't like is the slow progression of skill points towards Seed no evil and ProjectE in Skyfactory 4

This server has to be one of my favorite starts to any world I've done. The amount of help from plugins and stuff is actually insane! Especially since this is my first hop into modded minecraft with very little practice on pc this is very useful! Overall the people on here are nice and willing to share information to help one another. I can't wait to get every achievement and make new friends! :D

The server is good with a good community and some bad people that get banned or muted. The only drawback is the constant lag spikes for me that happen every once in a while.

Very happy with this server! The community is nice and helpful. The server runs very smooth and I have yet to encounter any issues . A lot of active players online which makes the community feel alive unlike many other servers I've tried.

Great server with good staff and community. I haven't enjoyed mc this much since crundee was at peak. Hard to find servers like this around. I've also never felt any lag, which is rare for populated servers. 10/10, no doubt!

Next time you notice any lag spikes could you possibly let us know in the appropriate server channel on discord? We have profiling tools that allow us to find the causes of spikes and hopefully prevent them in the future! I'm glad to see that you like our server a lot tho. It truly makes me happy!

This is the first modded server I have played on and honestly its been a great experience. I only play SkyFactory 4 on this server network so I can't speak for the other gamemodes. The community on SkyFactory 4 is amazing everyone is helpful and nice. Staff members on this server are very nice and helpful, I have never seen a staff member be mean or rude to anyone. They solve problems fast and don't mess around with someone who has done something bad to the server or player. TPS is great and lag free, also the server goes down every once in a while to fix things but its only for a couple minutes which is just enough time to restart your game if you had a memory leak (which really could be the cause of your "lag"). They ban items that can affect the server negatively does not and has not affected me greatly to the point I want to quit or affects my gameplay. Out of all the SkyFactory 4 servers I found that this was the best and I stuck with it.

First of all let me say welcome to the modded server experience and enjoy the ride. I think you picked a decent pack to start playing modded on mostly due to the fact that I also like skyfactory 4 myself :P. We try our best when it comes to solving issues in a timely manner as to not leave anyone waiting for extended periods of time since let's be honest nobody likes waiting!. The skyfactory 4 memory leak is actually fixable but only the modpack author can fix it since a mod needs to be updated (you can pm me on discord and we can fix it for you :)). We try to actually ban as few items as possible and have been unbanning quite a few items lately actually. I'm glad to see that you chose to stick with us and I hope that you continue to have fun!

Hey guys,

first of all dont give a fuck about any other review than mine because they are paid reviews. The server offers you a free chunkloader if you are writting a review here. Most people dont have the balls to give their real opinion cus they are scared.

I have been playing about 100 hours on that server, everything started nice. Kristi, the owner is a very friendly and helpful person. Most of the staffs are friendly and helpful but i sadly cant say that about every member of the staff team.

Is the server lag free?

Yes it is, but the price you gotta pay for that is a limitless amount of banned items and staffs that are going to do everything to make sure the server runs with 20tps.

Build a mekanism reactor that constantly outputs 100mrf/t and a staff will stop by telling you to remove it cus its creating lag (even tho the server has 20tps they will tell you either you remove it or he will).

Chunkloaders are only working while you are online and you have a maximum of about 10-11 chunks. The block activation for machines is reduced to 16 blocks if you go further away and the chunk isnt chunkloaded good night everything will turn off. So you either put all your stuff in a small area or you will have to go wherever you wanna do something to make it run.

Overall i can tell its a pretty nice experience playing there. If you enjoy the part before stoneblock 2 is going into creative mode and know the mods in the pack well you will have no issues playing but if you wanna enjoy the super late game and build crazy farms for emc or anything else you will be stopped by the admins or the banneditems.

Also the server runs on the curseforge launcher making it a server on 1.16.1 stoneblock version which is filled by tons of bugs.

My honest oppinion is.... If you are new to stoneblock 2 or if you enjoy the early to mid game give this server a shot it will be fun to play but in the end stoneblock 2 is a massive kitchen sink modpack that is going to end in lets call it creative mode and is definitly not made for being played on a server with a lot of players cus all you need for late game is going to create lag sooner or later.

Try to find a server that runs on 1.21.1, has less banned items and accept that its sometimes a little laggy when many players are playing.

Plus, the server is pay to win if you dont know what i mean you will find out sooner or later.

Hello everyone that might be reading the reply to this review in the future. Please note that the response is lengthy.

I'll personally state that the statement "first of all dont give a fuck about any other review than mine because they are paid reviews." Is incorrect. While we do offer one free chunk loader balance for putting in a review we explicitly state that you should be as honest as possible and we have never banned anyone for stating their honest opinion (To see exactly what I mean check out #review-rewards on our discord or check  http://prntscr.com/11ud5vn, and you will see that we never force people to put in a good review since any criticism is welcome and helps us improve. As such I don't understand why people should be scared about it.

Regarding our staff team and in particular the statement where you say, and I quote "but i sadly cant say that about every member of the staff team." we have a hierarchy and all issues in regard to the staff team can directly be mentioned to myself or our Head Admin LossIsSauce simply by pming us on discord since unlike most server staff teams we have our dms opened and if an issue where a staff member goes out of line or acts up is presented to us, we will take our time to investigate the matter and take appropriate measures. 

With regard to banned items being "limitless" this statement is incorrect. Our ban list is in my opinion clean and clearly displays why items were banned (check https://i.imgur.com/ll7RksX.png to view the banned items for our StoneBlock 2 server which was mentioned in this review). And to the statement of, and I quote "and staffs that are going to do everything to make sure the server runs with 20tps." all I have to say is that I'm proud that my staff team does this since I want players to enjoy our network without having to deal with the lag that most networks face.

Even if this did happen the only reason you would be contacted is if it showed up on our internal profiler tools and your setup was deemed as an issue and would only create further lag the more it was used (See rule 7 of our rules which are visible here http://rules.baconetworks.com/). And for the most part such setups are never really removed and are instead modified with our guidance, or we offer players better setup alternatives that leave a much smaller tps footprint.

Going on towards you mentioning chunk loaders. It is indeed correct that you can have a maximum of about 12 chunk loaders without donating at all which in my opinion is fair since a couple of networks offer no free chunk loaders at all. And in all technicality everything in your view distance is technically loaded however due to lag optimizations like 99% of servers we have to resort to using tile entity and entity activation ranges which is what you mentioned and is capped at 16 blocks. Most players fix this by simply building upwards or limiting their machines to the chunks they can chunk load and leaving the rest for builds (some of which are pretty awesome).

In regards to your statement saying that "but if you wanna enjoy the super late game and build crazy farms for emc or anything else you will be stopped by the admins or the banneditems." This is entirely incorrect we've had multiple players finish the emc quest which requires as you might know a lot and I mean a lot of emc and thus finish the actual pack without many issues and admins will never stop your progress unless you are literally causing the tps to drop to oblivion and thus ruining the fun of others. You must remember that this is a multiplayer server and that your builds and laggy setups have an impact on other players unlike single-player where you can go crazy which is probably what you should be playing if you want to have extravagant unoptimized machine setups.

Now to continue on about your statement that the 1.16.1 version of StoneBlock 2 is filled with bugs in regards to this all I have to say is welcome to modded Minecraft as long as you have a collection of mods you will have bugs no matter what the pack version is. And to add to this unlike most servers we actually take such things serious and have so far on StoneBlock 2 alone changed/recoded parts of 64 mods which are in the modpacks not even counting the countless changes that we've made to Forge alone in our fork and SpongeForge as well. In regards to bugs we are probably amongs the least buggy servers for StoneBlock2 regardless of modpack version. If you want to see everything that we've ever changed you're free to check our #changelogs channel on discord where we list 99% of our changes.

I agree with your opinion in regards to the pack actually not being made to be played on a server with lots of players however we do try our best to provide exactly that with as minimum amount of lag. If you really want to avoid our "limitations" I suggest that you actually either host your own server and play with your friends or simply play the pack in single-player so that you can avoid any "limitations" servers enforce. We sadly can't bring the full single-player experience to players since we have to take care of everyone's experience and try to make it as best as we can instead of catering to the experience of individuals.

If players want to join a different server that hosts the same pack to give them a try that's fine as well since it's you the players who should decide on what you settle on and there are differences that vary from server to server as you've mentioned.

And to finish this off I'd like to say that I don't think we are pay2win and that most players who finished the pack actually never donated and had fun all the same. If you want to check what we offer in the store and make your own decision then feel free to check https://store.baconetworks.com/.

We do actually have a chat system that you can use on skyfactory 4 and stoneblock 2 (/is chat) which is a chat with only your island mates or /ca chat which is a chat with only yoru cave mates and you can talk in whatever language you want in there. This server is awesome. I shall list the reasons why below.

1. Lag free - This server is usually free of any kind of lag and has usually no downtime, In the rare instance it does go down, its for less than a couple of minutes.

2. Great Community - The community is excellent. From the Owner on down to the players, They form a close and knowledgeable user base that keeps players engaged and happy.

3. Great Staff team - The staff team is fair, unbiased and fun to be around, They are chill people that just have a love for the game and a hate for rude and intolerant players.

So honestly, Why are you still reading this review? Get over there and hop on the server and start enjoying a minecraft experience like you've never had before.

We try our best to keep the server lag free and keep it up with no downtime whatsoever and we can thank our dedicated server host for that since they have a 99.99% uptime and so far they have not gone offline for us at all :). Our community is very close and very kind and actually anwsers questions usually faster than staff members do which is pretty amazing to be honest :D. In regards to our staff team we do try our best to only recruit applicants that will not abuse their perms and keep the players happy.
