Very high quality server. Lag Free. High TPS. Staff are very nice and friendly. Not too many banned items and I feel restricted in no way whilst playing :)

Good server. Sometimes the server crashes and sometimes there is lag. There is also lag when the map saves, But that is expected.

I have played on this server Multiple times, the Staff are very patient, Friendly, and always willing to lend a hand. The server is Nearly lag free. The player base continues to grow, but I could not ask for a better server to call home for the multiple Modpacks they offer.

I would not recommend this server.

There are many problems with 1.7 servers as I've heard from some players, but I preferred the 1.10 servers and had many problems with it.

First off, staff never did anything.
The only bug I ever saw any staff fix on 1.10 servers was the Ender Dragon.
It took at least a week.

A week to fix a staple fight from the Draconic Evolution mod, and one from the vanilla game, because of faulty plugins, not even an issue with the mods, and once they fixed it, you still could not kill the crystals that healed the dragon, so throughout the fight the dragon healed constantly.
"fixed"

The Chaos Guardian was not saved from this servers planning failures either. World boarders cut off half of the fight so you could not destroy his crystals, and if you left his immediate area, the dragon would despawn.

If none of you have fought the Chaos Guardian, you may want to know that he 1 shots you, unless you're wearing the best armor in the game, which he can still kill you nearly instantly, so distance is key.

I've repeatedly reported issues, and never had a staff once tell me anything except "staff dont support 1.10 servers"

Needless to say, very frustrating.

While the mods may be very buggy, as it was a newer pack at the time, there were still many problems that the staff could had fixed. Such as The End was protected, for no reason, and prevented collection of the egg after 30 minutes of work at defeating it.

Plus, the chat filter was silly.
The word "lag" was banned, and some chat messages, would disappear.

Many times, even if the message didn't have a swear or the word lag, the chat message did not show up, and if you attempted to resend your message, it still wouldn't go through, because it thought you were sending two of the same messages, thus spamming.

The lag was also a problem, which is understandable, due to new mods, if the staff had done anything to fix it that is.

The only time I'd seen staff do anything, was once when the TPS was as low as 0.6/20, and they simply restarted the server, without bothering to check what was wrong.

The staff were online most of the time, but could not spare even a moment to help anyone. I've seen many retreat back to 1.7 servers, to get the help they deserve.

I'd also like to bring up, any review with "IGN: ******" is probably a review to get 20 points, because with points, you get ingame money, and with ingame money, you may buy claimblocks and items.

Claimblocks of which, you start with around 100 of them, which is a horrid system because you must play longer or buy/"earn" points in order to claim more then 1% of any self respecting base, which by then you've had to log off to sleep, only to wake up to your several hours of work gone, because you didn't make a fake, positive server review to protect your base from griefers.

I wouldn't recommend this server to anyone who enjoys a fun 1.10 server experience, there are many more than this one, and they actually help.

I'm sorry to hear you had an unhappy experience on our 1.10 servers and can assure you that efforts continue daily to get them running on the same stability level as our 1.7.10 servers, so let me address some of the concerns you've raised in this review.

First, the Ender Dragon bug was caused by our SpongeForge server software which allows us to host essential plugins and is unfortunately unavoidable, though the issue was resolved by Sponge and we just implemented the update. Ender Crystals are a separate issue which is out of our hands, though we've implemented a temporary fix. Details can be found here: https://github.com/SpongePowered/SpongeForge/issues/1036.

Also, as some of us are still familiarizing ourselves with 1.10 mechanics we're sometimes unable to anticipate or treat issues such as those you described, but the key is to make tickets and allow us time to work through the problems presented to us and come to some kind of solution or compromise if possible, when possible. Additionally, the issues you described have coincidentally since been fixed, such as the world border and the End being protected, so apologies for that inconvenience.

The word "lag" is censored to encourage more detailed reports of server TPS so we may attempt to diagnose and fix the problem. Simply announcing the server is having issues is unhelpful and usually redundant anyway as staff are are alerted to TPS issues as they occur.

Some lag on 1.10 involves quite severe memory leaks and they can only temporarily be resolved with a server restart. We do our best to mitigate lag with plugins and research but there's only so much we can do until the tools become available to us and those issues are fixed by developers. We've implemented a plugin that will restart servers if a memory leak is detected to minimize lag and this is currently our only option to treat the issues you've experienced.

As for our points and claimblock systems, they're designed to encourage players to remain active, provide feedback, and engage with our staff and community. We reward points for all server reviews regardless of their implications and would've also rewarded them for this review had you included your IGN.

If you have any further issues or questions feel free to contact us on the website or in-game and we hope you'll be more satisfied with our 1.7.10 servers where all of our services are provided, though I personally am able to enjoy 1.10 despite its occasional quirks and hope others can also.

I've played on a few of the different servers Devco offers and I've honestly never been displeased by anything. The staff is respectful without being overbearing, the players are generally friendly, and server upkeep is amazing. There's usually enough players to make new friends, while still keeping the small server feel where you can actually get staff's help/attention. 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for a server to call home.

The Staff Is great when you have a problem they are so quick to respond but i've had a couple bad run in's with staff in the year and a half ish that i've been playing on this server. Overall the server is great, but when binge playing, the restarts that happen every 3 hours seem really fast, I Dont Know if thats good or bad, but the days seem to slip away on here.

--> I'm playing on Direwolf20 since i found this server and it seems that is has a lot of cool features, it has a good staff, i didnt see any cheaters or hackers around so i think this is the best server i ever seen! :D
