tl;dr - This is not a PVP server.

This isn't an actual "PVP" server. Don't be fooled by the tag. A lot of servers are doing that day and putting unrealistic expectations on PVPers.

I joined and asked instantly about the PVP rules and regs, it goes down hill from there:

"No flying, no magic, no tricks, no traps, no-" ... at that point, you name it. May as well get a stick and whap each other in "honorable combat"? x3

Hey guys, so I'm probably the only review that you'll read here who wasn't paid in game money to review this server.

This is just another donation farm server that pushes people to vote for the site and review them for in game goods.

This practice is shameful and makes it hard for the average person to genuinely know what the server is like.

So far I've checked out eight servers today, all ranked quite well, and most of them were empty. Because these server hosts end up hosting several servers in an attempt to get every possible player who might donate. So I try to find a hardmore Infinity Evolved server and see all these great reviews and server counts listing 50 people online, yet when I join them they're empty. Those 50 people are off playing Skyblock on an entirely different server, yet when I come here it's represented, falsely, as being active.

This server specifically has a reminder to vote underneath your minimap at all times. It never goes away. Just sits there spamming your screen.

No thank you, and paying people to review is scumbag behavior that shouldn't be tolerated let alone be the norm. There's no real point to these server ranking websites anymore... Congratulations.

Hello, not all reviews are payed as you said. I can see that you haven't read the info on the server, this is what our server review text says: "We encourage honest reviews so they will provide a good feedback." and for that we also give players an ingame reward no matter the review only if they provide the in-game name. The reason for this is because players will not just review the server and they need a motivation.

This is NOT a donation farm, no game features are restricted to players that don't donate. Donations are needed because when you pay 150-200 euro/month for server and you want to run the server for years it will get really expensive without all other expenses and time needed to keep it running, servers that don't get donations will run for 1 or 2 months, funds are needed in order to have a long therm server and regular maintenance to keep it running.

Player count counts all players on all our modded server, true, but our server is not empty! I don't know where did you saw that, we we always have 10 to 40 players online only on this server alone, there will be no point into keeping the server running without players and spending so much money for nothing.

There is no vote reminder anywhere under the minimap, the server features a scoreboard that counts votes until next Vote Party, i guess you haven't read that?

Multiplayer servers run on donations because hosting and maintaining them running is expensive, the reason we have multiple modpacks servers (no skyblock here sorry) is that we have a community, and players requested them because they get bored playing the same modpack and want diversity.

Again, we don't pay anyone for leaving positive reviews, we give them an ingame reward to leave a honest review, else they will not waste time on reviews. If you also complain about ranking websites keep in mind that these websites are here to make money, if you get premium membership you get extra points so vote counts alone will not get you on top.
