Played this server for over two weeks now and so far
all i can say is this is a realy bad server.
the admins takes a least 5 hours to respond to you when there is a problem, most of the time they cant do anything and yesterday there was a huge issue with a modpack that was fixed by the devs and on this server the admin just rebooted without checking if anything was working and not its been 8h since we issued the problem and they are still doign nothing locking everyone out of their island cause somethings is wrong with their plugins.

Also the chunk loaders are a either a total grind dayly with votes or you have to pay MONTHLY to get them wich is realy a shame.

Finaly the server has a lot of lag issues even when there is only a few people with not much on their island wich is a shame for this kind of server.

I totaly do not recomend playing on this server this was a waste of time and a mystake i hope no one ever does.

I started playing revelation today and had an instant glitch... I went on the discord server where I found
Jax_Ryouken....who fixed my issue very quickly.... while simultaneously was assisting others as well... this guy is awesome....

I play FTB Revelations on this server, and other than the expected Revelations lag everything runs how i expect it to for heavy modded minecraft.

sky block home bases, im not sure if this is unique to grumpycraft, but all servers have your home base as a sky block. i think its a realy cool feature.

banned items, so far i have only run into 1 banned item that i want, the draconic evolution energy core. after speaking with the mods i found that it is in the works to fix a bug with it and have it unbanned within a few weeks... good enough for me.

donor status, after playing on the server for almost a week i was feeling the itch for a chunk loader. chunk loaders are only available for donors 7$ a month for chunk loaders is reasonable to me considering the time i have already put into and used this server.

I've been playing with this community for a couple years now. Always fun conversations in chat and helpful staff around when you need help. Many of us here are working adults, some with kids too.

Server performance is always top notch, and any issues are quickly sorted out by an Admin.

Love this Server it is well maintained and the people are nice and helpful!!!! The Admins are great and very helpful. So I give this server a 9-10. I hope to see more people enjoy it the way I do. Also the lag is very low unless some one does something wrong. SO JOIN US !!!!

Of all the servers I've played I find this one to be the most enjoyable. When there is a problem staff are on hand to assist in a timely manner and do whatever they can to fix those issues, and do very well at doing so. The community is great, lots of fun and joking around and helpful where ever possible. I love their ideas of using an island system for the bases for protections instead of just in the over world, which also allows them reset all other dimensions aside from the islands 2 times a month to keep things fresh. They also have several servers to choose from, and many have quest books to play along with. I would be hard pressed to ever really get bored on these servers with so much variety and so many things to do. Come check it out! Even the staff are fun to be around and chat with (and most even play the servers as well.) :)

I have been playing on this server off and on for quite some time now.. throughout my experience here at grumpycraft i have played on several modpack servers, and here is what i can say. The admin are great theres always someone on to help fix a lag issue, moderate, update and maintain. They have a wide variety of servers ranging from 1.17.10 to 1.12.2. Its not the smoothest server I have been on in terms of TPS, but the staff and the friendly players make for a really great atmosphere to enjoy and have fun! keep doing what you guys are doing looking forward to more servers and more players!

So far I've played on grumpycraft for about 3 weeks now and I'm loving it staff is great and overall the server is very mature and that is a big plus for me. Staff goes out of there way to try to make it a good experience on all the servers in the network. I have played mostly on the Project Ozone 2, Sky Factory 3, and Modern Skyblock 3: Departed server and had none or very little lag troubles and whenever there were lag spikes staff was right on it to try and clean it up whether it be with a reboot or finding the lag source. I love it!

This server has a terrible group of Admins. If you disagree with them, but respect their wishes, you will be banned for it. This is not a joke, or exaggeration. They simply ban anything they don't personally like. They will ignore foul language, and even inappropriate statement towards other players, but if you disagree with them you can get banned. Avoid this one and use brierie instead.

admins are a piece of shit I was talking about when I played on a server there it was too laggy and a admin had the nerve to be a piece of shit and talk mean and such not gonna waste my time on a server where the owner picks crappy people who don't care at all and are total dicks go rot in hell grumpycraft I can find a much better server than one that there staff are huge dicks

I've enjoyed my time here since day one, and the servers are mostly reliable, having a far better uptime than any other server I've come across or played on. If a server is acting up, there is staff behind the scenes working on fixing any and all issues they come find, as well as regularly work on enhancements. In addition to all of this, they also host a gitlab that players can open tickets on if they find bugs, glitches, dupes, or are just having issues in general that the staff can reply to and help with. I also enjoy the diversity of modpacks they offer and regularly update.

Grumpycraft is a great server network. You see NinjaDjay, the owner, on all the time working on making things better. There was a power outage that corrupted all three of the 1.10 servers, he tried every avenue to get it working, and though he couldn’t, it was a noble effort, and nobody else could have either. xD Just today, he did some optimizations on Infinity Lite, he told me and it was updated and back up in 3 minutes. He really cares about his servers and his players, something a lot of server networks don’t do. There’s a minimum of banned items and I’ve never had to worry about griefers, the golden shovel protection does it’s job better than any other, and as it does I’m glad Djay has it on his servers. Grumpycraft is by far the best server I’ve played in the last two years, the last few have been alright at the most. Bwille53 is the most active staff member and he services all the servers, not just one or two, he’s dedicated to helping people resolve their problems fairly and efficiently. Overall, it’s just a great server, little to no lag, and no worries.

great server, the community is nice and helpfull if you need help

it's the only server i found that didn't get UNplayable lag

the only issues i found is that you need to wait 10 secs stand 100% still (cant move a cm)

overall great server 9.9/10

The server is wonderful. If help is requested help is usually there immediately. Staff are friendly and so are the other player. Wide diversity of servers that you can play on from 1.7.10 to 1.10.
