Shattered Reality RP

Warning, this server runs a customised version of the Regrowth Modpack (1.7.10).
This is a private server, so you must contact those listed below and arrange a sort of application to be admitted to the Whitelist.

Server summary:
We roleplay almost entirely in-character (IC), around the world that changes forever more. Each person has their own backstory, personality, and in some cases even a secret language, but there must be a fair enough reason for the character to be able to speak the common tongue. There are a few rules, but not too many. They are as follows:

1. Do not grief or steal unless agreed to by both parties.
2. Do not break the 4th wall.
3. Do not cheat (that means no hacking, no x-ray texture packs or mods), but exploits are allowed.
4. No power-playing, that means you can't "be an invincible god who can never die and if you poke someone they implode" kind of roleplay.
5. Try to limit your characters knowledge to what he would actually know in reality - That means do not reveal information you know of out-of-character (OOC) while in-character (IC).
6. Each character has a choice of a mod they can call their own, that only they can use (unless there's a reason someone else can), but this has to be a mod anyone can live without, it cannot be something such as Botania, as in Regrowth you need Botania to get anywhere. If a mod you desire is not in the game, and is not too overpowered and compatible, it can be added.
7. You're allowed to choose 2 non-creative (that means finite items, nothing overpowered like the InfiniMiner) for the rest of the game.
8. You're allowed to create your own race, basically, and your own faction in a sense.

The server lore:
"There are many theories and ideas that parallel universes exist, that in these worlds the same people life completely different lives, and some come rather close to home. In this version of Earth, called Eytarius, humans started out in clans and groups, the way normal history goes. Humans, in this case, live their lives normally.
One clan branches off and leaves the continent at the command of their leader, who claims to hear the voices of a God. They leave and form an Empire, away from all humans, and discover magic, which stretches the limitations of their existence, extending their life expectancy and becoming a whole separate race to humans. This goes on for thousands of years, but when a wave suddenly wipes out almost all of it, without any forewarning; no earthquakes, no further signs of problems, one village is saved, but eventually they all succumb to time's crushing pressure, all but one who is connected to their magic the most, with an life expectancy of seemingly no end.
Later, another human settlement branches off in to the sky. After creating artificial magic and combining it with technology, their cities were raised in to the sky. Travelling by airship, moved by rotor-blades and powered by their magical stream vapour, they were now the bridge between magic and technology, and did not like it when humans discovered an immense but ancient power, but more on that later.
In another part of the universe, a planet of skeletal people have run out of resources, and in a desperate attempt these people try to land on Eytarius, but something unusual happened to their ship and it malfunctioned entirely, blowing itself up upon entering the atmosphere, and again, all but one die.
In this timeline, humans become very much advanced, and discover the lost Empire when a sudden cave-in reveals an ancient temple, lying in ruins, as well as a lost language they could hardly decode; the only thing they understood was the logographic writing depicting immense power and magic, and upon discovering and researching an ancient relic they gain this ultimate strength. As humans do, wars broke out and things got out of control, and the world entered a new age: The age of the Wastelands.

The current races:
The Zul'in: Primitive beings who resemble the dead, but seem rather spiritual and are consumed by their own magic. These people are rather secretive and prefer to remain neutral.
The Skeltali: Their technological prowess made them wipe their planet clean of resources, so they set out on their final journey. These alien creatures are skeletal, but not quite dead.
The Icarusiuans: They are a sub-set of humans who blurred the lines between magic and technology, and altered their own DNA to accept their magic. They used steam as their main power source, and combined futuristic and medieval aspects.

Concerning the mods:
Since this is a custom modpack, you will be required to download and install the Regrowth Modpack (1.7.10), open your game files, and extract and replace you mods folder with our own.
