/r/overclocking's Direwolf20 Survival Server

While this server is in beta testing, there won't be any updates carried out. As of now, it run Direwolf 1.7.1 mod pack and Minecraft 1.12.2.
This server is mainly Survival, with PVP allowed but not everyone might want to PVP, so check first with anyone or any team if they're up for it. While we won't kick you for starting beef with people or teams who don't wanna battle, it isn't an invite to be annoying. Most of the Admins and moderators are on a single team for staff. We generally won't engage in PVP or anything as that'd be a bit one sided. All players are welcome, even if you don't overclock or are any part of the community on the subreddit. Staff members can usually be found building large buildings or contraptions, but they don't have to be on the staff team and may choose to have their own team and participate in PVP, although given they have access to some commands it might not be a good idea.

Server staff ranks are described below.

The owner (whom is also an admin), which would be me, own the server or pay the hosting bill, which ever may be applicable. Currently we are not accepting or looking for donations towards the running of this server, so there's no need to ask or offer. I am very proud to offer this service to the nice folks of /r/overclocking. They're tasked with maintaining the networking, hardware and reliability of the server as the utmost importance.

Admins have access to the host OS and can execute any command related to the operating of the server. they're responsible for ensuring the server is running and secure, and that it is up to date. They also act as head moderators and ensure that there are not any rogue staff dominating the PVP side of this server.

Moderators are tasked with maintaining player satisfaction and ensuring that nuisance players are removed. Moderators are limited to OP console commands and generally won't be responsible for the hardware or software side of running the server, they're here so everyone can have fun.

Builders are staffers who have nothing to do with running the server or policing it. They role is to build big and pretty buildings and to make areas, such as spawns or communal areas, nicer to look at and be in. Typically they have an artistic flair that can be used to tell their styles and buildings apart.

Currently there are plans to open more servers that appeal to different peoples, such as heavily modded PVP and a Spigot vanilla survival to name a few.
