Kinetic Network

I have been a member of this network for almost 8 months now and have experienced every pack it offers. Each one provides a unique experience and goal whilst keeping the core of the network and its' community between them.
The servers attempt to give a true modded experience, with no config alterations outside of necessary changes and a minimised banned items list.
I would recommend this network to both new and returning players to the modded scene.

Servers are overall of excellent quality. Lag is kept to manageable levels, though since Minecraft mods aren't always made with server performance in mind, some slowdown is to be expected. Staff is active and helpful, and the community is one of the most friendly I've encountered. 9/10, because absolute perfection is impossible.

It is a very fun server to play on the only problem is lag but that is to be expected from a modpack. I rated it a 4/5 because it is a good server but it could be better.

Kinetic is most probably the best server I've been on in my life. The community is grand. Servers might lag sometimes but that's what you get for a modded server. Staff knows what they are doing when it comes to modpack creation, dealing with people that wish to do harm to there servers, and always listens to the community, I've been with 8-9 networks so far and I don't see kinetic leaving my top 2.

Hi, My IGN is TheStampingGuru, and I am a new comer onto this server. However, I spent a good week trying out different mod packs, different servers, different interactions. Unfortunately most of them are Sh*t, fortunately for me I stumbled across KineticNetwork. Primarily their newer modpack - Infinity. (On either Technic Pack or Curse Pack so the Microsoft / Mojang login isn’t an issue)

As I said, I’m still new but this modpack has a phenomenal amount of mods, but they’re diverse. So if one area (tekky stuff) isn’t for you. Then another area might be more more of preference. (magic). Regardless of experience, preference of interest or opinion, these guys are always happy to help with their ACTIVE play base. Yes, active, and they don’t spend their time AFK. I’ve learned that If they don’t know an answer, they say so. If they do know, they help. There hasn’t yet been a moment where I felt ignored or useless because I didn’t know something that simple.

At this day and age, how many involved servers are you going to get like this one? Especially with a modpack as unique and diverse as this one; that also has a boss community, with down to earth and active admins / mods.

I’d also like to give their shop a shout, genuine funding towards solid and stable server performance. Quick updates, warning before resets.

Overall, Nothing has left a bad taste in my mouth after playing on this server. I Would seriously recommend it to everyone and anyone looking for involvement with the community and fun to go along side that.

I have been playing on the Kinetic network since it started and have seen the growth of the modpack developers as well as the quality increase in the servers. The latest modpack, Infinity, has been amazing! Plenty of excellent modpacks, many dimensions to explore, and so far an extremely lag free experience. I have enjoyed my time with the network and hope to continue to enjoy it for the foreseeable future! Excellent place to play!

NeroDraka, my views for these people are honestly pretty good. They have a very good group of staff who reply and help as fast as they can. I will say they do go a bit overboard banning items left and right to make things better but they also don't seem to have the worlds worst lag and corrupted chunks. all in all they work hard to bring everyone a solid gaming experience.

PS. I really wish they would open a second server for each pack with less restrictions and more often map wipes.

We are working on improving our banned item lists. I know it can be a pain to have items you want to use locked away. We've already made improvements to our Mythic server. Sadly, some items have to be banned due to server crashes, or huge lag issues, so opening another server with these unbanned wouldn't really work.

The staff are approachable and usually helpful.
The community can be toxic (people argue over stuff that just doesn't matter, like at all) but on the whole it's not that bad. Had a lot of laughs.
Some items get banned where I feel their issues could be solved with the config files or by other means, but it's whatever.
Potion ID conflicts big suck.

Multi-year player/ member here... I give em a 4.1/5

Have played on Mythic (magic focus + tech) / Mythic Novus / most recently Infinity (tech focus + magic.)

- mostly GREAT servers with the occasional hard hiccups & lag problems that are definitely frustrating (+ sometimes unclear if they're working on it efficiently enough)
- great chunk load range (I've been on some butter smooth modpack servers that are more populated, but you couldn't see far at all)
- nice community + playercount that isn't over the top. Very well balanced for big modpacks I'd say
- so many wonderful mods & blocks to build with, I've built literally the most epic bases on these servers and had a great time getting visitors + visiting others myself

I don't know what the others complaining about lag mean as I have had no issue with lag unless my wifi stops working. The staff try there best to keep the server in good standing and the community is friendly. I would recommend this to others as it is pretty well done in my opinion.

LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG and more lag that's all this network is. If they don't know how to host anything other than their stupid custom packs then they shouldn't host other packs!!!

SkyFactory 4 lag is unplayable and also the owner things "tps is not a problem" which makes no sense and the owner also bullies other owners by sending ceace and deciest etc letters.

Thanks for the feedback. A few small issues with that, one our SF4 server is offline while we rework it based on feedback from other people. So I don't see there is a way you could know if it lags, as it's impossible to join it. However, I will say it did have its lag issues, it wasn't our best server, and is the reason why it's offline at the moment. You're also right, our SF4 server was the first 3rd party server we ran, and it was a learning experience over running our custom packs. Something we have learned from and will take action on when the server comes back.

As for the TPS is not a problem, again, not true. We have the TPS command open to people to check lag, a Discord role people can ping if the TPS gets too low and we don't spot it. So I don't see why you could think that.

As for bullying other networks. I don't talk to owners of other networks, we just kind of do our own thing. Why the hell would we send a cease and desist to another network? One, that's not how they work. Two, we allow people to host our own packs and mods. As stated on our Discord FAQ. We would also have no rights to send something like this, as we don't make all the mods in our pack.

I can only assume someone has told you some lies, you're a troll, or just trying to bash our network.
