Welcome to The Flaming North. We aim to provide a experience focused on building and enjoying the plethora of mods included in the modpack. This means that PVP is disabled, with the help of GriefPrevention players can protect what they build and we want to be as liberal as possible when it comes to our restrictions, so no items are banned or restricted and every mod is enabled.

The game will be running at normal difficult setting and the terrain is generated using Biomes o' Plenty.
The rules are the same standard rules which every Minecraft server have so no griefing and just make sure that you're using your common sense and you won't get banned.

Our server is hosted in Sweden and is running Debian, have 32GB RAM with plenty of processing power and the world is pre-generated to provide a lag free experience. If any problems occur we have tools which will help us determine the cause.

Backups runs automatically every hour to the local storage and once a day at midnight those backups are copied to a server hosted by Amazon which keeps backups for a week to keep the world safe if something bad happens. Note that Mystcraft ages aren't included in these backups.
